Maha's Bio

I was born in Iraq. Since childhood, mathematics has interested me profoundly but I did not have the opportunity to study mathematics in my native country. However,in September 2008, when I immigrated to the United States, I decided to challenge myself once more and study mathematics. My hard work allowed me to be a outstanding student and scoring (A) grades in of my previous classes. The success in college inspired me to pursue a college degree and ignited my enthusiasms to study and participate in building this great country.

I was on the  A PRESIDENT'S HONOR LIST. I serve as PHOENIX COLLEGE AMBASSADOR, am a member of the HONORs PROGRAM, INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CLUB, PHI THETA KAPPA, REACH/TRiO PROGRAM and S-STEM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. Also I work as a CAD LAB assistants.
